Visiting NFL Stadiums

Today marks the first day of postseason play in the NFL, and while I’m excited there’s games on Saturday and Sunday, I’m already missing regular-season NFL play.

For several years now, I’ve been traveling (oftentimes with Raiders fan MrsChiropractic) to football stadiums throughout the United States. We try to visit at least two stadiums per season, choosing locations that are easy to get to from major airports (since we fly out of LAX). During the 2011 NFL season, I got to see a great game at Raymond James Stadium (Tampa Bay Buccaneers Stadium) in Tampa, Florida. (more...)

Having been practicing at the same location in Los Angeles for nearly 10 years now, we’ve accumulated quite a bunch of Christmas decorations (more get added each year). Each year it is tradition in our office to put up Christmas decorations the weekend after Thanksgiving.

Maria Wendy Rediffmail Classified Ad Scammer

Maria Wendy (unlikely this scammers real name) has been added to the list of individuals attempting to con sellers of chiropractic equipment (and very likely sellers on other classified ad websites too) selling ads via the chiropractic classifieds section of Planet Chiropractic.

Using the Rediffmail account mariawendy@rediffmail.com, this user contacted chiropractors posting items like chiropractic adjusting tables, with a template email. I’m sharing it here so anyone searching to see if they are potentially being scammed can know this is fraud. Here’s the first email… (more...)

A recent, groundbreaking study has shown for the first time that many invasive breast tumors spontaneously regress when left undiagnosed and untreated.  Before the study, there had been little or no research regarding what happens when such tumors go untreated, as they are usually quickly and aggressively removed.

The study found that women who received the most breast screenings had a higher 6-year cumulative incidence of invasive breast cancer than those who received far less. The researchers concluded that the natural course of many of the screen-detected invasive breast cancers is to spontaneously regress. (more...)
